  • All our cards are printed on responsibly sourced eco-friendly papers, using low-impact processes. Designed to minimise waste and transportation utilising UK + EU made materials.

  • Turnaround is typically 7–12 working days from final proof approval.

As each order is produced in stages, from plate making through to printing and finishing, additional processes such as duplexing or edge colouring may add a few extra days.

  • There are two routes, depending on whether you’re supplying artwork or need us to create it.

If you are supplying print-ready artwork:
Once the specification and quantity are confirmed, we prepare production proofs for your approval. Following written sign-off and payment, printing plates are created and production begins.

If we are creating the artwork for you:
We begin with a 50% deposit, followed by a small number of initial design concepts. One option is then refined into a final proof. Once approved, the remaining balance is paid before moving into plate production and print.

All artwork is approved by you before anything is produced.

  • Cards are printed using traditional Heidelberg “Windmill” letterpress presses, designed for precision and consistency.

Each design is transferred onto custom metal plates, inked and pressed into the paper under pressure, creating a tactile impression rather than a flat print.

Each colour or finish is produced as a separate pass, building the final result in layers. This allows for a high level of control, depth and consistency across the run.

  • Heritage print processes such as letterpress, embossing and foil involve a higher level of setup before the final run begins.

Each design requires custom plates and a detailed makeready process — adjusting pressure, ink and alignment to suit the paper, finish and layout. This setup forms a significant part of the overall cost.

Once this is complete, the cards are printed as part of the same run. Increasing the quantity at this stage has a relatively small impact on cost, meaning larger quantities offer better value per card.

For this reason, our minimum order is typically 100 copies, with pricing starting from £250 + VAT.

  • Yes — we offer sample packs that include a range of card stocks, print finishes and production techniques.

As each design requires custom plate setup (typically £200–£400), bespoke printed samples are not usually produced. For larger projects, we’re happy to advise where appropriate.
