Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, 50.

Due to set-up costs and the time that letterpress printing takes, the minimum order is 50 copies of any single item.

Anything else I should know?

Letterpress printing is a traditional printing process. We use a hand-fed and treadle-powered press for printing and as such variations within the job are to be expected. While we endeavour to minimise these variations, we cannot guarantee that each print will be identical. These small variations mark the handmade process and show the unique nature of each print.

Ready To Go Collection

How long until I get my invitations?

Usually in 4 to 5 weeks.

From agreeing the proofs, it takes us two weeks to process the plates, print the invitations, allow them to dry and get them in the post. It's the proofing stage that is more variable: if you have all your information and copy ready to go and double checked, the process will be quick, but if you need a bit more time to write your text and finalise your information, times and dates, then make sure you factor this time in.

Are different colour options available for cards and envelopes?

We have a selection of different card choices and colours that we can use for most of the designs. Please see our brochure.

Are different ink colours available?

Please see our brochure for our standard colour options. If none of our options matches your theme do let us know we can mix a bespoke colour for you for an additional charge of £30.

Please be aware that colours appear different on screen and with digital prints to how they are printed with letterpress. If this is a concern, do talk to us first about it. As our ink colours are hand-mixed, variations will occur between different print runs.

Are different paper thicknesses available?

We do seriously consider our paper weight for each design and the majority are printed on super-thick 700gsm stock, as this is the best for letterpress. However, if you would like to know about different options, just get in touch.

Can I get samples?

You can buy them here. We do charge a small handling and postage and packaging fee for each of our samples.
